Apply a layer of epoxy to the surfboard, place the fiberglass cloth over it, then apply another layer of epoxy on top. Smooth out any wrinkles and bubbles with a plastic spreader. Allow the epoxy to cure as per the manufacturer’s guidelines.

#### Sanding and Final Coat
Once the epoxy has cured, use a coarse-grit sandpaper to smooth out the repaired area, followed by a finer grit to achieve a seamless finish. If additional strength is required, consider adding a layer of 18 Low Density Fiberboard over the repair after the initial patch has cured. This provides an extra layer of protection and reinforcement. Finally, apply a thin coat of epoxy over the entire repaired area and let it cure.

#### Polishing and Refinishing
After the final coat of epoxy has cured, use increasingly finer grits of sandpaper to blend the repair seamlessly with the rest of the surfboard. Once you’ve achieved a smooth surface, consider applying a layer of surfboard wax or a clear coat for added protection and a polished finish.
